Subject: Problems with timingsOS: Win2k SP2/RH Linux 8.0CPU/Ram: Athlon XP 1900+/PC2700 33 |
Comment: The facts: Motherbord: ABit KX7-333R Processor: AMD Athlon XP 1900+ Memory: PC2700 333Mhz DDR RAM (256Mb) The problem: I recently had to reset the BIOS on the above setup and now the system is unstable. I have had this problem before when putting the system together so I know it is an issue with the RAM running at the wrong speed. To fix it I know I need to tweek the CPU FSB, FSB:AGP:PCI and/or Multiplier values in the BIOS but I am unsure what they should be set to. Thanks for your help.

Reply: (edit)your fsb should be 133 mhz. your ram should be set to 166mhz. if you have problems with that, set your ram speed to 133.
