I put in the "All in wonder 7500" and once in a while it goes into a loop and doesn't start up properly. I was going to install a new Drive for it but I am pariniod about uninstalling. Is this something that will go smooth and easy or should I worry about the process?

Tim,

Basic rule to follow when installing or reinstalling any driver is to follow the manufacturers instructions to the letter. Some are easy to toss at the computer and have everything work just fine...others require a specified step by step process and not using that process can bring your machine to it's knees. ATI does have good support. Visit them at http://www.ati.com/ and http://www.ati.com/support/index.html.

AGo to ATI's website and read which drivers will work with your card and install the latest that is compatible. You need to read carefully. The remote control software has to be upgraded in a certain way, if you don't do it properly the remote control won't work properly. All remenants of the old drivers need to be removed before upgrading. You change the display type to Std. VGA and then remove all the drivers. Some of the other components won't work properly if the same version or build isn't used. Don't use parts of one package and parts of another. In order to get Guide plus to install your need to have your original disks. I recommend you make a backup of those disks so if they get damaged you can still use guide plus. The way in which the software works varies with the version you use.
