Problems booting custom-built PC for 1st time

Specs: Windows 7, amd phantom 2
I just finished putting together my pc. I power on
to start to install the BIOS but my comp screen
is blank, all the lights on the mother board and
fans are working just nothing is on the screen....
any one might know what the problem might be?

Stop! Disconnect everything, pull the motherboard out and test it outside. Now install ram(one stick) cpu + heatsink, v-card(if the mobo has onboard video use it first), connect monitor, keyboard (make sure every component i mentioned is connected fine) ya now start the system. Do u see anything? Do u hear anything?

edit: oh u didn't bother to list the system specs.

1st of all, you didn't list your specs. It could be that your hardware isn't compatible.

2nd, you should NEVER install the hardware in the case without benchtesting it 1st. Gut the case & do it right.
