i got this laptop 3 weeks ago and it was working just fine with verizon, i change to cox and then problems started since yesterday, internet connecting and disconectting, i had to connect manually, i reinstall the intel5100agnwifi driver from the asus page, it work for a while, then i tryed instaling the driver from intel page and the wireless stopped working everytime i tried to connect but then the wifi sign change itself from activated to deactivated, i had to do a system restore so i wnt back to the asus driver, so the wifi started working i again, and it did but idont know for how much longer will it work, im worried because i wont be in the us for much longer so i wont be able to claim the warranty, so should i have it checked and claim the warranty at best buy now...?, or can someone tell what the problem is driver, hardware, verizon-cox???

thanks for your response

Are you running Norton/Symantec AntiVirus Software? If so, Is your subscription up to date?

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.

No, im not running norton, i have trend micro antivirus that came with the laptop, avast free, avg antyspyware, but as i said the internet ran excelent for three weeks when i was on verizon, so that makes me think if the problem is with cox, but also i read a 34 page forum on computer review and a couple of guys where having the same problem, so my first question stands, drivers, hardware or verizon-cox??

thanks for your fast respond
