I am having problems with my Digi Cam I have a Fuji FinePix A210 with 3 Mega Pixels. Normally the pictures I take are crystal clear and real good quality but the past few weeks they have looked really grainy.

I don't have a clue what the problem is I have the setting on 3 Mega Pixels, new batteries, different storage chips, and even cleaned the lense!, but the pictures are still looking grainy when put on computer or on the tv screen.

Its not blur or anything its just to sharp you know when you sharpen something on a photo program and it starts to look grainy thats how all my photos are looking!

Has anyone got any idea what it could be? and how I can fix it?

Although i have no experience with digicams, i'll try to share some ideas. Maybe you changed something in it's options. Is there a "reset to factory setings" option??

GooD Luck!

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

are the pics being shot at max resolution?
If so, grainy looking pics esp in dim lighty are common with digi cams.
I have a Canon A300 digi cam and at slightly lower resolutions, 800 X 600 and 1024 X 768, it takes excellent shots. But move it to its max of 3.1 MP and the shots start looking grainy.
Also have you set the compression to max quality if there is such an option?
I have found by personal experience a digi cam is best at one level less than max rated resolution.

Well try it and see if the pics are better.
And shoot in a well lit place. My cam is in no frieldly terms with dim light. btw have you put samples of your pics on the net? am just curious to see what your cam does.
btw if you want to see some shots I took, click on my homepage.
