Hi,
I recently aquired the Geforce 2 for my computer. And i had the Nvidia Vanta Lt before. Without reading the installation manual, i took the nvidia card out and placed the Gforce on. Turns out that I had to uninstall my nvidia before taking it out. So i put the nvidia card back on, to uninstall it and then switch to Gforce 2. But now for some reason i can't get my keyboard and mouse to work. I should mension that whenver i ran the Gforce card on, the computer started scanning a lot of data... What do i do, to get my mouse and kboard working again??

Is this an agp geforce2 video card or a pci 3d accelerator? If it is just the accelerator, the computer needs a video card to run. If it is a video card, you should have had no problem just taking out the old one and sticking the new one in. If you have xp, it will look for the appropriate driver and if it can't find one, it will use a default one that will make everything really crappy looking. That would explain the scanning probably.
