The drive you insert the blank CD-R disk in must be able to burn CDs.
e.g. CD-Rom (only) drives can't burn CDs.
You haven't specfied your operating system.
XP has a simple built in CD burning program.
Or - you can use a more sophisticated third party CD burning program.
