Indexing Service filter daemon has encountered a problem and needs to close

Try turning off "Windows Indexing" for the hard drive, which in any case is a waste of system resources: 1. Open my computer
2. Right click your system hard drive icon (usually C:) and select Properties.
3. At the bottom of the window you'll see "Allow indexing service to index this disk for faster searches," untick it and click OK.
4. A new window will pop up. Select apply to all folders and subfolders. It will take a minute or two for the changes to take affect.
Repeat steps 1-4 for any other drives you may have.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now you need to disable the Indexing Service itself:Start >> Run
Type services.msc
Click 'OK'1. Scroll-down to "Indexing Service" and double-click it.
2. If the service status says "Running", then stop it by pressing the "Stop" button.
3. To make sure this service doesn't run again, under "Startup Type:", choose "Disabled."
4. Click 'OK'.
