problem booting up

CPU/Ram: 128

i got one motherboard which is Asus TX97-N, built in display and sound, 128ram. the problem i having is i cannot boot up my system, there is only blank screen, no sound, no beeps at all.

i try to changed the ram, clear cmos, add another display card, open air test, all failed! anyone got better suggestion or know the problems? pls reply as it is urgent, thanks in advace, see u.

If you don't get any beeps the CPU might be fried. What CPU is is? Have you got access to another one thats compatible with that mobo or a freind with a system you could try that CPU in?

well, i just changed the processor with another system, but it seems nothing to do with it. still having the same problem, any possibility? thanks!!!!

You didn't say if there was any sign of life at all (power indicator light, fans running, etc). Have you checked power supply? If you have a voltmeter, you can check for at least the +12, -12, and +5 volts at any of the drive or motherboard power connectors. Keep at least one drive or the motherboard hooked up to test these voltages, because some computer power supplies must have the load attached or you will get false readings.

sorry abt the insufficient information provided, yes, the cpu light and the monitor light is on, i'm very sure the monitor is working fine. The power supply is working, the fan of the cpu is spinning, and the rest r working just like normal, but the only problem on display 'blank screen', no post message even............

Chk jumpers for CPU freq on that MBD. I think something is wrong with MBD or CPU is dead/not compatible.
