Problem after unlocking CPU Phenom II 3.2

Specs: Windows 7 64bit, Phenom II 3.20/ 6 G
guys, I have an Asus board N4N78 Pro with a Phenome II 3.20 CPU.... and I have read so much about the power of unlocking the cpu that I wanted to give it try; well, my BIOS has a setting called "Nvidia Core Calibration" that allows you to unlocked the 4 cpu, and it did, but since then the computer becomes unstable: hangs up, not responding, etc... my question is: is there any way to bring back the cpu to its original 2 core only or to make the machine run more stable?.... I went back and disable the setting but the OS still shows the 4 CPUs and keeps acting up

thanks

Shutdown the system, unplug the power cord, then use the ClearCMOS jumper on the motherboard to reset the BIOS to the defaults.

After doing that, reboot, immediately enter the BIOS & reconfigure your settings for best performance, but this time, do NOT mess with the core calibration.
