It appears your cartridges for this printer are ink cartridges only - they do not have a built in printhead - and there is an individual printhead built into the printer for each color.

Ink cartridge Part number
HP 14 black print cartridge C5011A
HP 14 tri-color print cartridge C5010A

Printhead Part number
HP 14 black printhead C4920A
HP 14 cyan printhead C4921A
HP 14 magenta printhead C4922A
HP 14 yellow printhead C4923A

If changing the ink cartridges doesn't cure your problem, you waited too long to change them, or you removed the cartridges and left the prnitheads exposed for too long, and the printheads are probably clogged with dried ink.

You could try un-installing the HP software and re-installing it, but it probably won't help. In most cases you do not plug in the USB connection intially until at least part of the software is installed.

You could search the web for information about how to attempt to clean the printheads, and/or there may be cleaning cartridges available.

The printheads are available but they're not cheap.

E.g.
C4920A - HP 14 BLACK PRINTHEAD $38.38

C4921A CYAN Printhead $48.25
http://www.marketpoint.com/search.c...
C4922A Magenta printhead $48.25
http://www.marketpoint.com/search.c...
C4923A Yellow printhead $48.25

If you don't want to attempt to clean the printheads yourself, you're probably better off buying a new printer or all in one.
I advise you to get one that has cartridges with the printheads built into the cartridges.

Thank you so much for your help. I'll try cleaning them and pray. Have a great day.
