I have a hp deskjet 648C printer and i cannot get the paper to feed correctly. I've been on HP'S help and support site, followed their steps on trouble shooting, and i still the printer refuses to load. the printer will not print test pages, even holding down the resume button for five seconds. Please Help!

mmmm.... not much to go on but I would get a torch and something slim (like a small knive blade, but note that this is only a suggested item)and look to see if there are any bits of torn paper or card jammed in the mechanism

feed roller(s) might have got hard so 3 option from cheap to expensive. 1:use a fine grit sandpaper to roughen the feed roller. 2:get a small bottle called rubber renue & use a qtip to put rubber renue onto feedroller to soften it up. 3:scrap printer & buy a new one
