Specs: Windows XP, Pent4/2ghz 1gb

I am replacing my old printer that obviously came with a usb1 cable. Now, i see that they do not offer a usb cable anymore. You have to buy it. I have through the years accumulated about a dozen of those cables ( they are mixed ) in a box i kept in storage. There is no way i can tell the differences between them. Is there a way to check out the speeds of those cables? I know one can still use the usb1 cable, only it would be limited in the difference of the usb2. Is there a clue just by looking at them for the differences?

I don't think there is any difference in the cable. Besides which, the amount of data being sent to the printer is so small it wouldn't matter anyway.
