I am printing labels in DOS. I say Print C:\NAME and the labels are printed. However at the end the printer keeps feeding blank labels out. Does anybody know the printer command in the DOS Editor to stop printing at the end of the file ?

Check the printer manual. Maybe there is a special character it recognizes as an 'End Of File'.

Does it keep spitting out the labels or is it just one page? I remember HP laserjets sometimes had a problem with a blank page feed at the end of the printing process. They had some kind of batch file you could run to stop that. It might work with your setup if you could find that file. I googled some terms but couldn't find it.

You may want to ignore the above about the batch file. Now that I think more about it, I think it was a batch file to cause a form feed and not suppress it. On the older printers that had no form feed button, if the last page didn't print out you had no way to get it out until a new print job.

As Aegis1 says, check the manual. Also check the software you're using to print the labels. Printer control--drivers if you will--in dos are supplied by the software and you may need to ID the printer or configure it beyond what it is now.
