Hi i have a HP 1018 printer conected via usb.the problem is that sometimes the spooled files get stuck and they appear in the printing properties as"printing" but the files dont print.after a restart the files are printed immedietly after booting to xp.i tried the"start printing after the last page is spooled" and im not sure if that will work.i tried the same printer with the same cable on diferent computers and they print just fine.can someone give me a clue what is the problem.

try unistalling the whole printer s/w. and then put the usb cable on a different port and the reinstall the printer. let us c
