Anyone have an idea on what could cause this?

Walked into work this morning and nearly every printer in the company is out of paper due to printing pages with garbled characters accross the top until it was out. Have a remote userID showing as printing in nearly all printer queues. Deleted all the print jobs, but a lot of the printers are still printing jumbled characters after being turned off and back on. Will be going around resetting all of the printers and printer server boxes on them, but was wondering what could have caused this. Also a few of our users received emails from the same sender all without any internet headers.

Any ideas or has this happened to anyone before?
