Subject: Printer not detected by Win XP!
OS: Win Xp
CPU/Ram: P4-2.4Gb
Comment:

I have an OKI OL400e laser printer. It has been working fine.
Win XP is supposed to detect the printer automatically.
But lately, I've been installing Win Xp again and the printer won't be detected.
The Add Printer Wizard is telling me:
"The wizard was unable to detect any Plug and Play printers. To install the printer manually click Next".
When I install manually the Printer installs but I don't get Form Feed. I have to do Form Feed manually.
What can the problem be?

Check your parallel port settings in BIOS. You may need to swao from normal, epp, ecp, epp+ecp etc. to get it to work (If this is a new mobo).
