Most printer create a spool file when printing. This file is usually deleted automatically when the print job is completed.

If the computer crashes during a print job this spool file is sometimes left behind but it shouldn't cause a problem. A corrupted print driver can sometimes casue problems with the spool file.

There is nothing that the user should need to delete as a matter of routine.
