Hello.

I recently bought RAM (a 1GB chip) for my laptop after some very very helpful advice from a member on here.

Now, I am just asking some questions so that I know exactly what to do when I get it in a few days time.

1) Will I need to manually alter Windows Page File settings?

2) As far as I know, my laptop has 192 MB of RAM, and 64 for the graphics, totalling 256MB (I mean it has shared graphics RAM). Does this mean that when I get my new RAM I will have to keep one of the other RAM chips or get a seperate graphics card, or what?

3) Will I need to reinstall Windows?

Thank you everyone on this kind and helpful forum :)

If I think of more Qs (no doubt I will...) I will post!

You just need to install the RAM. Everything will take care of itself.
