Power to house went out, PC wont turn on

The power to my house went out this morning and now my PC wont turn on. Theres a blinking green light on the back of the computer that stops blinking about 5 minutes after I unplug the power. Help please!

I suspect the blinking light is a network card.

I'd unplug the AC plug and press power button a few times. The put ac back and test. Take note of any signs of life. Fans, keyboard lights.

If it fails then next step may be to test power supply.

In all of this be careful to AC shocks to you and static damage to boards.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
