power supply beep code

i took the 2 power supply cords out of the mother board and put them back in. If i put them back in one way the supply doesnt turn on but if i put them back in the other way it gives me a continues beep code. what is wrong

You have to put the power plugs back in so that the two black wires on each connector are right next to each other. If you put those in backwards, there is a good chance you fried the motherboard.
