Comment:

For some reason my CPU is no longer powering up. Pressing the power button doesn't do anything. So I replaced the Power Supply with a known good one and the same thing. I tried disconnecting all power cables except the hardrives but nothing. I've tried resetting RAM and cards, etc. No Power. The supply only makes a quick noise when I plug it in and then stops. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance

You can try to take all expansion cards out, along with the processor and RAM, then see if it will boot up.
There may be something holding it down.
However, it has been my experience that when this happens, you're usually looking at a motherboard that's gone south.
By the way, just to check, you did try to plug this into other known good A/C outlets, right?

Thanks for your quick post. Will it boot without any cards, RAM, Processor? What about hardrives? Should I disconnect those as well?
