Recently I have been unable to power up my computer after shutdown/power down. Shutdown sequence seems to be fine, however when the computer powers down, the power light blinks. When I push the power button to power up, nothing happens. I end up having to turn the main power switch off and then on again in the back of the computer. What is causing this little hassle?

i had the similar problrm before. after i shut down the computer, the PC sometimes turn it back on again. OR soemtimes just power up for a second then turn back off itself, then turn back on for a second and then off again, none stop cycle. then i just discovered that the PSU cable cord didnt connected properly. after i plug the cable cord tightly, the problem sovled. remove the PSU cable cord, then plug it back again.
