Hi! I have the AGFA snapscan 1212u and lost the power
cord. Is there a way I can purchase a new one?

I would advise you to send that scanner to the happy hunting grounds. The cord would cost more than the scanner is worth.

The company discontinued all scanner manufacturing in 2001. So that scanner is at least 9 years old. There are no drivers available for new OSes.

There is a link below for an ebay auction for that model. Bid is $9.99 and there are no bidders.

Is it possible that it uses a standard computer type of ac cable?
Look in back for what might be similar to a wall outlet 3 prong.

Do you know if it connects directly to the ac wall power or does it use an ac to dc adapter unit?

I went to Best Buy and it didnt seem like there was a standard one that would work. It has one large round plug in the scanner to the wall...
