The power button to start the computer keeps breaking.
What can I do to fix it , I don't have resources for another
computer.

What do you mean by "breaking"? Sometimes you press it and it won't turn on?

If that's the case, either the power button isn't making contact with the terminals to short them and start the computer, or the connector on the motherboard is loose.

Open up the computer and check that the wires that go from the back of the power button to the motherboard are intact, and the connector on the motherboard is plugged in snugly. If all looks fine, then the problem is with the button itself, or maybe, but not likely, the motherboard. It could also be a power supply issue.

As for checking the power button itself, i'm no help there, for I have never had to deal with a power button before. I'm sure someone else here can help you with that, though.

Hope this helps,
