Power Button Doesn't Work after Upg

I upgraded a computer by putting in a cd writer. I pressed the power button, everything was working fine. Next I removed the old hard drive & put in a new 60gb wester digital. I went to press the power button so I could begin doing fdisk & there is no power. I checked the cables etc & didn't find anything loose. Does anyone know why my computer has lost its power? Nothing turns on, no fans either.

No I haven't but am going to try this today to see if it is the hard drive. If anyone else knows of any reason why this computer won't turn please let know.

I once put in a Cd-Writer, went to turn the PC on and nothing. Then I remembered some PSU's have a switch on them. Felt around the back and found one , flicked it over then pressed the power button and it burst into life. I must have switched it over by accident. Does your PSU have a power switch on it?
