Hello :)

It's simple, yet annoying: Each time I plug in a Plug&Play device, such as my PSP, phone or Digital Camera, the computer automatically restarts by itself.

I have Windows XP SP3 and have been through Device Manger to find any Plug&Play devices that I used to have and found none, and have also removed and reinstalled all my USB Ports.

This problem has only been occurring recently and it is becoming very annoying.

Thank you in advance.

is it all usb ports on your computer or just one that you are plugging everything into. I would try another usb port which i'm sure you've done. Look and see if one the usb ports is damaged. this could be making it short out and restart.

I've tried all of them. I find it really funny as they seem to work fine with my USB printer and my dongle, but play&play devices cause it to imminently restart.
