Hello,

I just bought a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE PCI card (a step up from the awful integrated sound device on my motherboard), and I'm trying to configure it.

Everything else is working fine, but I'm experiencing a relatively major problem for me: despite making sure that Line-In is unmuted in playback devices, I can't get whatever input I give it to play back through my computer. However, recording that same input works perfectly fine. And yes, I did plug it into the correct jack on the correct device.

On the integrated card, it plays through fine.

I've tried a microphone (and switched playback and recording devices to mic with mic boost) and a (musical) keyboard, and neither have worked as expected.

Does anyone know how one can have microphone or Line-In input play through on the Sound Blaster Audigy SE PCI card? Is this even possible?

Thanks,

--Laogeodritt

Hello,

I'd just like to note that I restarted and, for some reason, it works now as expected (of course I had restarted after installing the drivers).
