Specs: Windows Vista, AMD 2.6 dual core
Hi, I hope you can help with my problem. I recently bought an Evesham-badged case with a micro atx mobo holding, I am told, an AMD 2.6gig dual core CPU, and with all drives removed. My problem is that I didn’t notice that the front panel connector and usb wires had been disconnected and, despite three days trawling the internet, I can find no help. The mobo is printed with Foxconn and Winfast names and the number N15235, and two paper labels stuck on it read WY7T63905421 PC6100M2MA-RS2H and 020200M00-010-G.

I have built systems before but always had the mobo manual to give me these pinout details, and no, unfortunately, they are not printed on the motherboard itself – despite being told they were by Tewktech, who apparently offer support for Evesham machines since the company went down.

I understand the N15235 is a generic mobo produced by Foxconn, which is often adapted for use by name firms, but a search of the Foxconn website and Google has no information on this particular issue of the board.

Also, if there is no info in this board, though I find that hard to believe considering the number of PCs Evesham sold, can I try out different pins with the power switch and other connectors or would I risk damage to the board?

Any ideas, please?

Many thanks for your time., Clive Nash

Jam, you are a hero. But in my defence, I must say I tried the Foxconn site (obviously) a few months ago and could not even find that board. But I did notice that the site has since been changed/upgraded and listed far more boards. Only yesterday I spent seveeral hours on the site trying to download this manual. I went to downloads and inputted the mobo number 6100M2MA-RS2H. It offered a number of downloads, from chipset to bios etc and I dowloaded all, but every time I tried the manual another window opened, not the save dialogue I was expecting, and that window just froze. I found one other page ogffering the manual download alone, and the same happened. Your link took me to a page I had not visited before, and .....perfect. I don't know why I wasn't directed to that page in the first place. Anyway, again, my most sincere thanks. You have made an old man very happy.
