Hi ALL,
Recently I bought canon powershot sd850, and I'm using kingston SD card, I format the sd card in linux(OS), here the problem started. Able to take snaps from camera and able to see those pictures in camera. when I try to download those pics thru card reader or usb cable in WINDOWS(OS) not able to see images in the folder. I try to use the option scanner/camera wizard it says no pictures. It look like STRANGE but happened.
Can any one tell me how to download those pics on windows(OS).
One thing I forget to say, I can see those pics on linux(OS). But now I don't have linux (OS).

If you can save any photos currently on the card that you want to keep, such as finding a friend with a Linux system, or maybe using a Linux "Live CD" where you could boot your computer and copy the pictures from the SD card to somewhere else. Then, either use the camera to re-format the card, or use your Windows computer. Hopefully, that will fix the problem. I say "hopefully" because if the SD card was formatted in FAT, which is the default filesystem for most memory cards/devices, then the Windows system shouldn't have any trouble reading it, regardless of being formatted with a Linux system. Especially since the camera can read and write to it okay.
