Hi, I'm wondering if anybody out there can help me.
I have a Pico Platinum FM560 PCMCIA Modem
I need to obtain a replacement adapter for plugging in the phone lead into the card.
However, I have been unable to find any contact details for Pico.
The modem is 2nd hand, so I don't have any packaging for it, nor access to the original retailer who sold the card.
I've heard a rumour that Pico have been bought out by another company.
Does anyone know if this is the case, and if so, who bought them ?
I am in United Kingdom, but if anyone even knows which company (if any) has bought them I'd be very grateful.
I've tried various combinations of their name as a web address:
pico.com, picotech.com, etc, etc, but no luck so far.
I've also searched on google for all of the numbers listed on the card.
Here's hoping someone out there knows something
Cheers
Simon

Sometimes buying a 'dongle' for a PCMCIA [or PCCARD] can be an expensive exercise.
Try buying a used card or a new one from a local PC Shop.

Thanks Brian,
I have since managed to hunt down the company that took over Pico.....
A New Dongle comes out at £45 (UKP)
A new PCMCIA modem comes at anywhere from £30 - £70+
I suspected that the lead was going to cost a fair bit as I've experienced this before. But it was for a client so I had to try and at least find out.
Simon
