I replaced my ink cartridge with brand name ink and it said ink was low and now will not print with cartridge. is there a way to reset printer so I can use cartridge because I've only printed ten pictures so far and it can't be out of ink. I can't return ink because I don't have receipt

Many cartridges have chips in them that measure ink levels and once it's registered as empty, can't be reset. They are made this way to keep you from refilling the cartridge. Just buy a new ink cartridge.

Epsom are well known for their low output (copies/pages) per ink cartridge...

See if any of the ideas via this list from google are of any help:

Also... I have a practice of retaining receipts for various purchases; in some cases scanning them/saving them that way). Ink cartridges are one item; although as I often buy mine via Amazon (as cheap as most sources on the web\) there is also a record there of what/when purchased too (should it be needed)...

Clarify your statement above.

Did you replace an ink tank with a genuine Epson tank of the correct type to match the settings in the setup, then print ten photos?
