Hi, I'm having a very frustrating problem with a Compaq Presario 1275 notebook computer. When it boots, the very first screen that comes up is "Phoenix Notebios 4.0 save to disk manager". At this point, the computer gives a status indicator for this notebios disk manager and after a second or two just switches to the windows 98 shutdown screen (Windows is now shutting down). Then, the only way to turn the computer off is with the power button. Does anyone know of a way to remove or bypass the notebios save to disk manager? Otherwise, is there a way to simply remove and reinstall a bios? Any help would be appreciated.
