Phillips TV won't read USB Flash Drive

Specs: Windows 10
My friend has been having issues with a 32GB USB flash drive to watch stuff he has from his computer after he formatted the flash drive to store larger files than 4GB is there a way to make it work or is formatting the flash drive back to FAT32 the only option to make it work.

You don't say which Philips model this is. Maybe the manual will mention USB formatting limitations if any. Otherwise copy the files onto a computer, format to FAT32 and see if it will read the files when you copy them back.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Assuming they're .MP4 or .MKV movies files, why are they so big? My 1080p movies generally aren't much larger than 2GB each. You will likely have to reformat the flash drive to FAT32 to get it to work with the TV & then figure a way to downsize the movie files.
