PC PitStop has a pretty good battery of tools.

What is the problem you are having? Do you have other posts on this forum board regarding the problem that you can refer to?

So it would seem

We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology

Well the problems I am having is that on the 12 of september my b'day :) i got a new monitor a Dellw1900 tv/monitor. Then a few days later i bought myself a Nvidia GeForce 6 6200 graphics card. But since i installed these hardware items my conputer crashes when playing varios games such as HL2, and when doin other tasks not just gaming. I just started uni so im 200 miles away from where i bought the graphics card so i havnt been to change it. I get a blue screen when the system crashes. I tried reinstalling the graphics drivers that didnt work.
When i start the computer back up and send the Microsoft crash report it tells me my problem is with a driver but doesnt tell me which driver so im all confused. I was think of buying more RAM and a new processor but i know that wont fix the problem. My current processor is a p4 2.53ghz with 512mb ram.

any tips on what the problems could be would be useful...

Thx

Go to nvidia's homepage and download the latest graphic driver (detonator)
install that.
Also, maybe the problem lies with fast write or side banding for AGP in your BIOS. try disabling them, and disable video bios caching while you're at it. Then try.

Also, see if the heat sink for the VGA is hot, shouldn't be hot, just warm....

Also, try to change the AGP for the card to 4x instead of 8X (in BIOS).
