i have a amdx4 830 64bit processor. orginally had 12gig of ram installed with win7home premieum installed.
i went back to xp 32 bit os with 4gig of ram because of stability.
what is the best for my desktop in terms of ram and os to make this thing where it wont hang up and will just flip through tasks that i ask it to do. even with xpsp3 4gig of ram it will have to think sometimes ..
i have onboard video of 256 ati radeon 4400. please advise
usually if u have 4Gb of ram its good to have a 64-bit OS, if it hangs up then u have a problem with ur hardware probably with ur ram, since ur on xp now its hard to troubleshoot the problem computers are a second home
