What do you mean by better?

The K6/2 was cheaper, but only went to 550MHz, while the PIII was pricier but went to 1.4GHz. Plus, the Pentium III supported 133 FSB.

This question is relative to the time frame, as time went on you could find a AMD that would perform better than a PIII.

They are both so old don't bother.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

The Pentium 3 is much better than the K6-2. And depending on the CPU, some P3's were faster than P4's.

What's a PIIll?

You're mixing cap I's and lower case L's. How about just ID'ing it as P-2, P-3, P-4 or whatever.

"What's a PIIll?"

I didn't even catch that. Now I'm not sure which CPU he's asking about.

Generally, a K6-2 & Pentium 2 are comparable, depending on the clock speed. The Pentium 3 is better than both of them. The Pentium 4 is better than all of them, depending on which P3 or P4 you're comparing.
