Comment:
Hi guys does anyone know if this chip will fit the Alienware area 51 M5500. Pentium M 780. I know that it is a 478 pin but since intel had to make things harder by making two types that are 478 in different forms. I am unsure of what lvl of power i can put into the laptop.

Now the socket M is a Dual core cpu socket correct?
Any help would be great so i can get this puppy going.

The Pentium M 780 Dothan is a single core CPU. If you wanna know if it'll work in your notebook, contact Alienware. What happened to the original CPU (M 760)?
