my god if its a slot i get rid of the darn thing the price for a slot 1 800 intel is murder http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2075083981 you can buy a xp 1700 cpu with combo motherboard for about a $100.00 new! on pricewatch.com and it would blow away that 800 intel in specs..

Anyone with a SLOT ! CPU will be holding onto it and try to get top dollar from those Corporations who cannot afford to trash a whole Server just for a dead CPU.
Go the way David recomends...get current, get modern, get blown out of your mind with the AMD XP1700.
