basically, you can't do anything with p1..all ur waste is money to upgrade it, so i do not recommanded. however, you can purchase parts of the pc and built one, it usually won't cost you that much.

I bought a Pentium 1 -133mhz 32 mgs of ram coulple years ago..it came with a Ausa 50x cd rom and a Iomega Zip CdR-W manufactured date [year 2000]I mean the drives not the CPU]just want to keep this response on the straight and narrow.. they worked fine no problems at all... I just sold it last month and kept the Iomega CDR-W to put it in my Compaq Laptop 133mhz 48 mgs although I have'nt got around to installing it in this Laptop I have no doubts that I'll have any problems...don't spend money if you don't have to ....maybe you can trade that one you have bought for an Iomega that to me dose'nt seem too fussy if you know what I mean...Good Luck.......Nil

I'm using a P233 with a 10x8x32 CD-RW and it works just fine. A faster CD-RW would also work but it probably wouldn't run a full write speed. I sometimes have to reduce the write speed to 6x or 4x depending on the data.
