Hi, I'm wanting to upgrade my P4 2.0GHz
(here is all I could get from Dell)
Processor,80532,2.0G,512K, 400FSB,Socket N

It's in a Dell Dimension 8200
I'm wanting to upgrade to something like this

One of the more 'P4 savy' guys should be able to tell you if the 3.06GHz laptop CPU will work in a desktop motherboard.

Yeh, I'm pretty sure I'm going to just get a 2.8GHz P4 and overclock it later.
