Pentium 3 or 4?

hey my processor is an Intel Celeron 1.7ghz.
Would this be classified as a Pentium 4 or a Pentium 3?

Hi Jason
Your Celeron is classified as an Celeron but its based on P3 if it has Socket 370 or P4 if not so. If the RAM you have is DDR its sure you have Pentium 4 based Celeron. Open your case and have look or try with a benchmark.
