Pendrive folder shown command prompt shortcut

Specs: Windows XP, 256 MB
I cant assess my pendrive folders. WHen simply double click it shows command prompt widow and close by itself. While move to one of the file folders properties- shortcut menu- Target - shown as "%windir%\system32\cmd.exe /c "start %cd%RECYCLER\Fowawf.exe&&%windir%\explorer.exe I:\Cover Letter"" .

How i can retrieve my datas from the folder

It looks like it's running (or trying to run) a file called Fowawf.exe in your recycle bin. I didn't get any hits on that file name. Are you sure you spelled it right? Anyway, it sounds like a virus. Probably best to do a scan with whatever anitvirus or antimalware software you use.

You also might be able to edit the shortcut. I think in your example the folder was I:\cover letter. Try having the target for that folder just be "I:\cover letter". If that doesn't fix it you can always edit it back to what it was.
