I have a USB flash drive, 8GB space.
The problem is, although the drive was working fine for sometime, its suddenly not showing any data.
Windows says the device is working properly.
But it calls it a removable disk and asks me to enter a disk into the drive for it to read.
Also, the capacity it shows is 0 bytes used, 0 bytes free.
I'm also unable to format it.
Could data have been corrupted?
Need help!! Will greatly appreciate any.

Have you tried it on more than one computer?
Are you connecting through a USB hub or directly to a port on the computer?

I have tried it on one more computer, yes.
I'm using the ports in the computer itself.
Anyway I can get it back to work again?
I don't care much for the data in it.

I think it is fried - even if it does start to work on a particular machine you would never be able to trust it again
