Pen drive not detecting

Specs: Windows XP
After inserting the pen drive in USB it is detected and disappeared within 5-7 seconds. The USB port is working well for other accessories like Mouse, printer etc. The pen drive is working well in other PC. Please send me the solution.

It may be that it isn't able to assign a drive letter. See computer management, storage for drives and letters assigned.

It may be that there is some connector issue. Bad or failing or weak or crossed.

It may be that your system is on the limit of current and can't provide anymore.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
