I was wondering, for the PCI-Express cards, do they go in PCI slots like the PCI cards right now do? Or does it require this new special PCI-Express slot Ive been hearing about?

The motherboard has to have PCI-Express slots.

Yes, PCI-Express and PCI_eXtended are different.
