Comment: Hi All I recently purchased a new motherboard based on crossfire and found that they did not ship it with the extra PCI-express card that is supposed to be in the other port when only using one card, even though it states it is supposed to have one. The Board is the EQS My Question: Is there any way to bypass having this card until they dispatch one and send it to me or am i going to have to wait? Mattmatt@bbcomputing.co.uk www.bbcomputing.co.uk

Reply: (edit)SLI/Crossfire technology can work with just one card. Its only that the speed is boosted significantly when the second card is added CHECK OUT MY MUSIC AT HTTP:\\ROAST.DMUSIC.COM1040Mhz Pentium 3 OC'd at 1.2Ghz Aopen MX3WPRO-E mobo Intel 810 chipset Onboard Graphics-RECENTLY UPGRADED TO 64MB PCI SAPPHIRE RADEON 7000<

Reply: (edit)Thankyou for the reply but i dont think you quite understood my question. I know i can only have one graphics card but according to the motherboard manual i need an extra little card to put in the other slot when i am just using that one card. This extra card is not a graphics card but just something to fill the slot with. Motherboard is EQS A72K9-CF. Mattmatt@bbcomputing.co.uk www.bbcomputing.co.uk
