Comment:
Typically, will pc3200 DDR memory work on a board that has a top speed of pc2700?
I have a stick of PNY ddr pc3200, and an Asus P4S533. I expect it to only run at 333 speed, if at all.

Works fine on my P4P800S mobo. I normally run 512MB of PC2700 at 333MHz but popped a 512MB stick of PC3200 in and they worked OK together or separately at 333MHz. Only problem is Win98 won't work with 1GB though the DOS mode was fine. Managed to get Win98 to work with 768MB by limiting the memory size.
