CPU/Ram: p3 700/ 256

i have a dell latitude that has a p3 700 somthing with 256mb ram. I want to upgrade the ram to 512 (the max) but i was unsure on the number of stick i need. DO i have to install 2 256mb or can 1 512mb do it?

Go to www.crucial.com and do some research there. It depends on your Mobo specs. You can find some info there. Good Luck.

If the max your board supports is 512MB & you have 2 memory slots, the max is 256MB per slot. Check Crucial.com as was recommended
