Hi,

I recently attempted to add another stick of RAM to my PC.

After insert the RAM my PC would power up but did'nt even get to the mobo splash page. It seems not even to be communicating with the monitor.

I removed the new RAM and powered up again - same thing happened.

Tried reseating the existing RAM but no joy.

There are no beeps.

Anyone give me a start point to debug my problem?

Cheers,

RG

Thanks - I have tried reseating the video card and everything else on the mobo systematically.

Also tried one stick at a time in various slots.

Anything else I can try before I bite the bullet and visit a repair shop?
